YouTube is the platform we recommend most for live streaming.

It’s easy to search, automatically saves all your games, and lets you build your own sports channel for family, friends, and fans to follow. There are just a few quick steps to set it up:

Before you go live for the first time:

1. 2. 3. On a computer, sign in to your YouTube account. Click the “+ Create” button and select “Go Live.” Verify your account with a mobile phone number.

You’ll then see a message saying live streaming will be enabled in 24 hours. In some cases, depending on YouTube’s process, it may take up to a week. After that, you’ll be ready to go live anytime.

Use a YouTube Brand Account for Team Streaming

If your team wants multiple people to stream on the same channel, the best solution is a YouTube Brand Account. With a Brand Account, you can give access to different parents, coaches, or team managers so they can help run the channel. This is especially useful for teams that play on different fields or courts at the same time, because everyone’s games can appear under a single, official team channel.

A Brand Account also supports multiple games being streamed at once on the same channel, managed by different people with shared access.

To get started, you have two options:

1.  Move your existing YouTube channel into a Brand Account, or

2. Create a new Brand Account channel dedicated to live streaming.
